Room was excellent. Well furnished with lots of extras, Comfortable and clean although on the 3rd floor and it took a while to learn my way in and out of the room to downstairs. Just had to make sure I found a door without a room name. Shame there was no food on a Monday night because they had just completed a festival weekend but found somewhere just round the corner. Breakfast was excellent.

The room was exceptional, and somewhere we enjoyed spending time. Lovely en-suite but it was the Hardy themed room that made it so enjoyable. Lovely staff.

This property was fantastic. Definitely worth the stay, so close to the main square. The owners were great and let us know that they were there to share knowledge of the area and if there were any issues. The house was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Beautiful place in a beautiful area.

We loved our stay at The Tool Shed. The location was so beautiful and remote; just what we needed! The communication was brilliant, especially as we needed a late night check-in after our wedding. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of bubbly on arrival and a yummy breakfast. The accommodation was so comfy and welcoming, a real home comforts vibe. Looking out of The Tool Shed were endless fields, and luckily for us, lots of sunshine! The owners have the loveliest dog who we enjoyed playing with, too! We hope to visit again someday.
Boasting garden views, Stay on the grounds of this beautiful Manor house offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 15 km from Poole Harbour.
Staff are lovely and very welcoming.
Great Italian restaurants nearby, we had dinner at one of them and the chicken in cream and mushroom sauce was divine.
We only had breakfast in the hotel a couple of times as we were room only.
Visit the minster and visit the library up the winding stairs if open. History there is incredible.

Wimborne Minster is a very picturesque town, with lots of cafe's, restaurant and shops, both high street names and independents, to explore. Sitting in the square, drinking a coffee and people watching, is a lovely way to pass an hour or so.

Quintessential English town with charming understated architecture and pleasant atmosphere. Good pubs/restaurants. The Minster is lovely to visit and worth the climb up the spiral stone staircase to see and hear about the chained library (one of only 5 left) but check opening times for the library. The Priests museum is also worth a visit and lovely garden for tea. Also, handy in reach of NT’s Kingston Lacey which is well worth 2-3 hours.

Bed was soo comfy, was going to read some things before going to sleep but just fell asleep straight away.
really friendly hotel, staff were attentive and knowledgeable.
location was perfect for a walk around Wimbourne, restaurants start 2 minute walk away.
really authentic Pub/Hotel (not noisy) with character and homely feel.
the hotel doesn't have its own parking but there are two within 1 minute walk, the larger one had lots of spaces and not many cars. big plus is car park is free 6pm to 8am.
It was nice to arrive to have tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits available plus a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. All necessary cleaning products too. Also, there were towels and toiletries in the bathrooms.
It was on a nice quiet site only 5 minutes drive into Wimborne Minster, approx 30 minutes walk, although along grass verge for some of it. Lots of lovely eateries in Wimborne and a short walk along the river.
We had a lovely stay and would stay again.
The cottage is characterful and welcoming, the lounge and kitchen diner have lots of lovely features, such as record player, incredible fireplace, warming aga. Lovely little courtyard garden to enjoy a morning coffee, or park our bikes in as we did. Rooms very comfortable. Great location in Wimborne, just a few minutes walk to the many eateries and shops. All in all, we loved the cottage and felt very welcomed by the hosts. Highly recommend.
The location was absolutely perfect for what we needed, right in the centre of Wimborne. We chose not to eat at the hotel.
The room was very spacious and clean, however due to it being at the very top of the hotel and the weather being so hot, it was unbearable and the heat was oppressive, despite the hotel issuing two fans. We decided to come home a day early due to the heat in the room as we could not sleep!!!
Wonderful experiences Well thought out Quirky Rooms just fun to be in, this is why we stay at 1777 when in Wimborne
best location right in the center of town with good parking
and the breakfast at the Olive Branch is fantastic makes my day, We also have had dinner on several occasions it is very good
The Staff at the Hotel and Olive Grove make you feel very special,
The whole experience was first class. The owner met me and assisted with luggage. She was helpful. The room was very well situated and furnished. All the things you needed were there not like a lot of hotels and b and bs who have cut down on what used to be expected. Lovely area walkable to centre. Parking.
I've stayed here a few times and always pleased. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location for bus travel to Bournemouth or Poole. Co-op on the corner of the street and good dog walks. Nice walk into Wimborne Minster. The hosts are lovely, friendly, and very helpful.
A beautifully renovated house -very comfy bed & gorgeous facilities all round. Only a 10-15 min drive to Wimborne which is a lovely market town which we were visiting. We also drove to Weymouth for a day trip which took about an hour.
Great communication from the hotel. Very central location. Felt very safe as a solo, female traveler. The room with spacious warm, and a little details that really made a difference.
The Loft House has character and is beautifully equipped. The welcome pack was really nice. The location is quiet and secluded, but with in easy reach of Dorset's attractions.
The house was extremely clean and in a great position within Wimborne. The breakfast was excellent, freshly made with quality ingredients, a great place to stay.
Staff and Managers are trying to maintain the standards this hotel has achieved in the past but the meal we had was poor value and the breakfast non-existent.
