Everything at the resort exceeded our expectations. We asked that our initial room be changed to a ground floor room as we are old and cannot handle stairs. The friendly staff moved us immediately to a ground floor room and even offered to help with moving our luggage. The staff made great suggestions about where to eat and told us about attractions in the area. They also provided free parking near the area attractions so we did not have to pay the exorbitant parking fees that were near the places where we wanted to spend time, (Marginal way, Perkins Cove, beaches, etc) A short distance away from our motel was the town of Kennebunk, (be sure to stop at the Chamber of Commerce and have them map out a great scenic driving tour of the area), Go a little farther to Portland and visit the old port, beautifully restored and a great place for restaurants and history. Be prepared to pay high rates for parking. At night be sure to enjoy the hot tub and pools at the resort as a great way to end a busy day sightseeing. Most restaurants are upscale in this tourist Mecca so be prepared to pay a little more for restaurant food and drink. We discovered a local grocery store near the resort so every other day during our stay we would buy our lunch or dinner there and barbecue on the resort's outside grille while enjoying the great view and warm evening air.

Met our expectations for a night's sleep on our way
Staff friendly, except for one. Good variety breakfast food.
Didn't like...male owner not friendly when we tried to talk to him. No daily cleaning service. No place to eat breakfast. Had to eat outside on picnic tables that were wet and temperature outside cold, or carry it back to room. Amenities advertised did not exist, such as no game room.

Ogunquit is either a tourist trap cleverly disguised as a town or vice versa. I grew up near there and still haven't figured it out after 60 years. The Marginal Way is a very scenic walk. We often drive up from Central Massachusetts with the sole purpose of strolling it and sitting on the rocks. Seldom stay the night. Hannaford's up the road in Wells is a good place to shop for food if you prefer to not blow all your dough in restaurants. Still over-priced for a grocery store, though, but has decent selections. In the summer, the traffic is ridiculous in the center of town. There is a 6-way intersection where there should be either a traffic circle, a police officer, traffic lights - or even all three. It backs up for a mile or more in either direction and parking can be limited, so be aware if you are a new visitor.

This town is my most favorite place to go.
This town is my most favorite place to go. It is best just off season to avoid the crowds. Beautiful beach and Perkins Cove is quaint. Lots of quality restaurants. Shopping outlets are just a few miles down the road. The local play house also has quality performances.
It's all about location, location location. We were close enough to the town village of Ogunquit without the noise or bustle, and close enough to ALL of the beautiful sights around that area of Maine. ( the beach, shopping, restaurants,Marginal Way, Perkins Cove etc.
The hotel grounds were stunning, as the back yard has a great relaxing vibe overlooking the River, and the little waterfall. Just gorgeous.
The staff was also very friendly, and ready and willing to listen to the concern I raised regarding the mildew smell of the room.
The Inn was great, nice room & facilities, price was excellent, staff was excellent & the location was great - a lot of things we did were walkable & in walking distance. The continental breakfast was excellent also. There were lots of things to do and see there & there were lots of restaurants in the area - all the ones we went to were great - good food, great staff and lots of variety - but being in Ogunquit it's always about the seafood.
comfortable accommodations along Highway 1; easy access to Ogunquit, Wells, Kittery, Sanford, and points beyond; breakfast options exceeded expectations; while we didn't use the, the opportunity to barbecue own food is a great option; quiet hotel; close proximity to Footbridge Beach in Ogunquit; easy access to local restaurants.
the property is right on the ocean which is why I picked it. it is more pricey that I usually pay but it is our only trip this year and worth it. We also had a delightful encounter with a fellow named Eric and he made our stay with his friendly banter and his help.
Great location. We were within walking distance of the Ogunquit Playhouse, multiple restaurants and Marginal Way Walk. The pool and the Roman Spa were lovely. There is a large full sized gym in the basement of the hotel.
A great location right outside of the downtown area of Ogunquit. A small size hotel, that is charming and affordable. The heat pool was great, and there are wonderful restaurants within walking distances of the hotel.
Coffee maker only
Location is downtown
Our room was set back from the street
Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink and coffee maker
Although motel was not on the ocean we could walk to the beach
Good value motel near Ogunquit centre, with interesting walks from the hotel. Next to a good lobster restaurant. Two pools, breakfast and free parking. Nice town. Lots of restaurants. I'd stay again.
Location is close to beach and personnel is very friendly. Tip: we rented bikes which made it easy to reach the beaches and Ogunquit since it can get very congested with traffic in high season.
Love this hotel have stayed here many times this particular time we got a room with a king size bed. The location was beautiful and we will be back once again soon! We love Ogunquit!
the location and the front balcony. Unfortunate that I won't be able to visit the same room with my dog, though. Only some rooms are dog friendly, just not the really good ones.
The resort is so clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The indoor and outdoor pools are very clean and are open much later than other hotels/motels.
Our suite was spacious and very clean. Staff is courteous and responsive to requests. This motel is a good value for money. It is a 15 min walk from downtown Ogunquit.
Central location to Wells and Ogunquit, short drive to York or Kennebunkport. Pleasant check-in. The room was good size, comfortable bed, nice fireplace.
