The Hotel zum Hirschen is Salzburgs oldest family-run hotel, conveniently located in the city center and only a few minutes by foot from the historic old town and the train station. Spacious and comfortable room with a great bathroom and separate WC. Our two windows were directly above the main street and we couldn't hear a thing ! The hotel also offers a fitness room and a sauna and relaxation rooms which was absolutely amazing. We didn't get the breakfast there but I'm sure the buffet would've been lovely too. The hotel is a short walk away from the city center and the surroundings are lovely, and it is very quiet at night We will definitely come back when visiting Salzburg.

Located on the banks of the Salzach River, Motel One Salzburg Mirabell is a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace and a 15-minute walk from Salzburg’s Old Town. It’s true what they said - enough with the same same. It is different, modern, interesting but still very cosy - definitely an unusual place. My view over the river was fantastic and the breakfast was the best!

I liked the comfortable bed, the clean balcony and the well-equipped bathroom. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was superb. Everything was quiet and peaceful, overall. The location is fine - the town center is reachable on foot.

Levy's Rooms & Breakfast is only a 2-minute walk from Salzburg Main Station. Levy’s Rooms is a three minute walk from the train station. It is near a cafe so you can stop and get a beverage or a bite. The place is very nice and modern. I liked that there were cold beverages in the lobby to purchase. My room was cleaned daily. Breakfast is a few steps away in the next building. The food was delicious. Frank and Tijana were very helpful. You can only get in the building with a keycard. It is a secure building.

The Scherer is a traditional, family-run 4-star hotel in a quiet residential area, only a 15-minute walk along the Salzach River from Salzburg’s Old Town. The hotel, very well located, is an excellent option for visiting the monuments of the city. It is also very well connected with the Festival theatres. The very kind and helpful staff and spotless rooms welcome the guest. Breakfast alone is worth the trip. Highly recommended

Family-run since 100 years, the charming Hotel Hohenstauffen enjoys a quiet location, a leisurely 15-minute walk away from Salzburg's old town. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Perfect location, very close to Hbf, but still so quiet. Lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming. We arrived much earlier than check it time, but they still allowed us to have early check in, which was a life saver as we had had an early start and were tired. So grateful ❤️🙏🏼 Beautiful and traditional interior with wood and marble and no plastic. It may have been the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Salzburg.
