Located in the Oud-West district of Amsterdam, Hotel van de Vijsel is 300 metres from Leidseplein. The bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing. We loved it so much we booked an extra night. Very cosy lovely hotel and in such a perfect area!

Situated in Amsterdam and within 1.5 km of Leidseplein, Hotel Heye 130 has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This is a fantastic small hotel in an interseting area, a few steps from a canal. It looks as if the hotel has been renovated from top to bottom recently and it is now very stylish. My single room was small but extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a great view of the street scene. There is a tram stop at both ends of the road giving easy access to all parts of the city and there are plenty of places to eat along the street. The staff were very helpful. This will definitely be my base in Amsterdam for future visits. The price is great in this expensive city!
