At night it is close to the center of Lauderdale-by-the-sea. There is also Publix,cvs etc. on walking distance. Hotel has free park spaces for visitors and there is a very nice beach in front. The front desk is very helpful. Room has a full size refrigerator, microwave and other kitchen equipment. I will not seek for other hotels in the area again. Great for families as well. This place is very good for summer holiday.

Plunge Beach Resort is set in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, 7 km from Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. The property offers on-site parking, free bike rental, and water sports facilities. We arrived at 12:00. Our room would not be ready til 4:00. No worries, for 10 bucks the valet Leo took good care of our luggage. We were able to sit on the beach in lounge chairs. And we went to have lunch at the bar . Especially enjoyed the fried mahi-mahi fish and chips! We are planning on returning real soon!
