I travel frequently, LaPLaya is one of the cleanest and nicest motels I have stayed. It’s is immaculately clean, the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when I come here. Perfect!!!

We enjoyed staying in the Santa Catalina cottage. It was lovely. We walked everywhere. Never even took the car out while staying there for four days. Loved the location, being near the ocean but also only a few minutes walk to town. The staff were helpful and attentive. Really, nothing to complain about, which is unusual for me!! ;)

On top of that, it’s only a couple of minutes to the beach and half an hour walk or a few minutes drive to the center of the city. Area felt really safe. It did not feel like your usual motel, it felt higher rank! Overall lovely place, would highly recommend.
