The WiFi was good, the breakfast buffet was refreshing. Maarten the host was very accommodating and he helped me get acquainted with the city. I highly recommend!

Nestled in the picturesque, sea-facing suburb of Fresnaye, Maison Fontainbleau Guest House offers a tranquil oasis with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Signal Hill. Absolutely loved Maison Fontainebleau!! Denise is a wonderful host, great breakfast and advice on how to get around, especially in times of load shedding. The perfect place for a Cape Town stay!

Below Lions Head lies the stylish, elegant Villa, Walden Suites provide quiet, sunny accommodation with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and Table Bay. I recently stayed at The Walden Suites and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The host, Melanie, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The staff was also incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious and healthy breakfast that was served every morning. It was a great start to my day and set me up for a productive day ahead. Last but not least, the pool was simply amazing. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. Overall, I would highly recommend The Walden Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The warmth, kindness and professionalism I received from Liesel and the housekeeping team were beyond words, from the moment I arrived. They ALL went above and beyond for me, anytime, to make my stay so comfortable, and for whatever, whether I requested something or not. They were always joyful, smiling, laughing, treated me like I was family. (And honestly I had lost my Dad to cancer, in Seapoint, 4 days prior to arriving at Ashby Manor guest house, which they were not aware of, I didn’t share that), but the kindness and generosity they all unknowingly gave me, made it easy to get thru those 12 days, smiling & laughing, while staying at Ashby Manor. I’m in France now, and send the biggest Thank You for the wonderful stay at a gorgeous uniquely-styled accommodation, with stunningly designed rooms. I would recommend Ashby Manor guest house in beautiful Fresnaye with Stunning mountain & sea views to anyone visiting Cape Town! To enjoy being hosted by an amazing team :)
