It’s an iconic hotel portraying a glorious tribute to a bygone era . The decor is stunning , particularly loved the Lighthouse bar and having a room with a Seaview balcony is a must . Loved sitting on the outside terrace I overlooking the pool for breakfast and the food was amazing !

I was really amazed with the lady at the front desk. She went the Xtra mile we where looking for the location and was driving around could nit find the place it was gone 3 o'clock I called reception the lady there asked what car you driving mam your number plate and instructed us to wait where we where she's sending some one to us.in 5 min a please young man was there to assist us to the hotel. The staff was amazing friendly and helpful The one thing we did not get to enjoy was the spa when we wanted to book for the next morning said they fully booked. Set in Durban, 3.2 km from Umhlanga Lighthouse, Town Lodge Umhlanga offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The hotel was extremely clean and the security guard was helpful upon check in. Nhlanhla was simply amazing he helped us with our luggage upon check out and he was so patient. He is definitely an asset. Overall we had a comfortable stay and the hot water amazing!
