Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila se encuentra en Wilpattu, a 34 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 34 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

This fan-cooled tent has a safe, dining and sofa seating areas. Private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. Magnífico todo. Desayuno exquisito. Personal muy atento. Las tiendas de campaña son una pasada. Muy limpio.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Quiet and cozy. The staff was phenomenal. We mistakenly got our dates mixed up (thanks jet lag) and showed up a day early. Staff was very accommodating and we were able to move up our booking by a day. Dinner was lovely and both afternoon and morning safaris were great. We loved our guide!

Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

Probablemente el mejor alojamiento de todo Sri Lanka. Si estáis pensando en hacer un safari por Wilpattu, tenéis que dormir aquí si o si. Se encuentra a escasos 10 minutos del parque, y el safari que te organizan de día completo no puede ser mejor. Tienen un gran conocimiento de la fauna del país y su comportamiento, con lo que las probabilidades de ver al leopardo o al oso bezudo son enormes. Nosotros vimos a ambos, desde muy cerca, seguro que nos acompañó la suerte, pero la experiencia del guía también. En el alojamiento en sí pasamos grandes momentos, la habitación muy cómoda, la comida buenísima, y lo mejor de todo, la atención de Inu que fué excepcional. Nos llevamos para siempre la charla alrededor de la hoguera y su eterna sonrisa. Mil Gracias!!

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. The host was really nice and managed to organise the safari at the last minute. We saw elephants near the river in the night, it was incredible!

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. Beautiful setting. The camp is very spread out and the tents are spacious and clean. I’ve camped all my life and this did not disappoint as it was very luxurious comparatively. Keep in mind it’s still camping but the tents have all of the comforts of home with a full shower and bathroom as well as a sitting room. Upon arrival we received welcome drinks and were given a very informative orientation where they went over the tents, meals and meal options, afternoon tea, night and morning walks as well as the safari options. We chose to go with the full day safari and it did not disappoint, we saw a variety of birds, many deer, water buffalo, a sloth bear and three leopards(a mother and her two cubs). The bbq dinner was fantastic as we sat around a camp fire which was a gorgeous setting. The morning breakfast was also special and incredibly romantic. The staff was top notch and catered to our every need. This is a must experience if you love camping. The tents has no ac but a great fan which made for a good night sleep.
