Amazing place and staff. Comfortable room and the view from the roof was amazing! Dinner on the roof was also a super nice touch watching the fort for sunset.

I couldn't have wished for a better stay in Jodhpur. Nitin and the family did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible and were always checking to see if I needed anything. I stayed longer than planned as the roof was a great place to lie and relax. My bathroom had all new modern fittings and plenty of hot water.The family are new to running a guest house and are still learning but they are so eager to please. Improvements are being planned too..Thicker mattresses, more beds to relax on the roof, bigger menu. Good home cooked style food. Great views over the city and right by the Fort. Easy to walk to all the attractions. Let the GH arrange your pickup as not all tuktuks will tackle the final hill and will leave you to walk the last 50m

We were looking for a homestay and were very happy to find Magan Niwas, which lived up to our expectations. As we had driven down from Noida, we needed parking for our car and were happy that we got it on the premises. We stayed in Suite room and found it neat,very clean and comfortable. There was a small garden sit out where we had our breakfast and evening tea.As we were in Jodhpur to attend official functions, we didn't have any meals, however , I am sure it is our loss. The host, Mr Vikram Rathore, and his daughter Radhika looked after us extremely well and treated us like family members. I will certainly recommend this homestay which is maintained very well, kept spotlessly clean and is conveniently located near the market and places of interest. Host is very welcoming and helpful, just lovely nothing is too much trouble and as they live in part of the property they are available always when needed. Very comfortable bed and good shower room just the aware that the shower is cold water so if you want a warm wash you need to use the bucket, this was fine for us in a cold stay. The restaurant is open all day and serves delicious and cheap food as well as beer. It is located near other guesthouses with their own rooftop restaurants if you want different food. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. The host family are very welcoming, their son Happiness was who we mainly spoke to and he is quite the cheeky chappy! One of the nicest homestays we've had on our trip.

We liked the room so much that we stayed inside longer then intended. The host is charming and funny, and took really good care of us :) staying at Shahi Guest House feels like a 5-star hotel experience with the humble and kindness of an intimate guesthouse. We couldn’t wish for a better place to stay.
