Ley-Lia Guest House which is situated in the town of Aranos and consists of 6 luxury en-suite rooms and can sleep 2 persons sharing. Each unit is fully equipped for Self Catering, with fridges, microwaves, stovetops, cutlery and crockery as well as a braai area. There is also an air-conditioner and DSTV Bouquet in each room. Children are welcome and can be accommodated as they wish. We gladly cater for groups or individual travellers on business or leisure. Sundowners, Dinners, or special functions can be pre-arranged and packaged will be tailor made.
Ley-Lia Guest House is situated in Aranos, Hardap Region –South East of Namibia. This Guest House opening its door in August 2016 was a dream come true to couple, Duane and René Schwarz. With many years of experience in the hospitality and Game Lodges, we finally had the chance to start our own business and live our dream in the beautiful Kalahari. We now share this dream with our two girls (Hayley and Amelia). We love the industry, we love catering and entertaining and we would love to share this beauty that we are surround with everyday with anyone who wishes to experience the Kalahari.
Aranos is situated 130km from Mariental, about 200km from Kalagadi and more or less 340km from Buitepos border / Gobabis. This making Aranos an ideal place for a stopover, overnight destination for business or leisure travelers. Off the beaten track and on a road less traveled lies this small town but what a perfect place to unwind and forget about the buzz from the outside world. Surrounded by breathtaking “red dunes”, vast open spaces and cleanest fresh air you’ll feel energized in hours… A wise man once said, “the only man I envy is the man who has not been to Africa, for he has so much to look forward to”… allow us to be part of your African dream!
