My wife and I loved everything about Shrub Lodge. We stayed for 6 perfect nights. It is situated in a very good central quite residential location very close to the Falls and town centre. We think this is a new or recently built lodge, much more modern than any lodge we saw in Victoria Falls. The grounds, lobby, restaurant and spacious, modern high ceiling rooms were perfect. Great strong warm shower too. Our room had a modern, clean bathroom with a walk in shower and stand alone bath tub. The modern room furnishings and high quality queen size bed and bed sheets/ white new comforter was great too. There is also a beautiful clean pool in the middle of the lodge. So much attention to detail in this resort. The service we received from every single staff member at the lodge was so fantastic it is hard to describe . We literally felt like we were with family from the reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff to the Lodge drivers. One huge benefit was how easily we booked all of our safari tours, evening shows , boat tours and transportation through the lodge with great ease and for fair pricing. The included breakfast was also very enjoyable with a good variety of items and gentle, great service. All in all, this is the best lodge my wife and I have every stayed in.

Would 100% stay again, the team were absolutely exceptional. The room was lovely and clean, the lounging spaces/pool area was great, the breakfast was delicious but the best part was definitely the staff, Joseph was around to give me a ride into town and back when I went on excursions/meals in town and I was treated with so much kindness from every single staff member. They made my time in Vic falls 10 x better!

Africa nature at it's best! Clean, easily accessible cottage. Very quiet, safe place to stay. Services were friendly, helpful and meals were delicious. Views of the bush with a pond! Sit on the front porch and see baboons, rhino, antelope, giraffe and Impala. What a treat! Will go back

The breakfast at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is good and varied, but quite expensive (25 USD per person). The Buffalo Bar has good food and the landscape view is beautiful.

We really enjoyed the pool (and the monkeys and mongoose). It was great to be so close to the safari lodge. We went to see the vultures and had a drink while watching the animals at the waterhole. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a shuttle to take you around and certain times and will also pick you up. If you can't make the shuttle, the front desk will call a taxi for you. The breakfast was also very nice and included a lot of options (cereal, full English, toast, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea and juice). The location is in an area near a lot of other lodges, but it's less than a 10 minute drive to the main part of town where shops and restaurants are.
