This family-owned hotel is quietly situated in Interlaken, 200 metres from the Interlaken West Station. Free Wi-Fi access and free parking are offered. The hotel owner was the highlight of my stay here, as she was able to be very helpful. She also was very interesting to talk to about her life as well as very personable. Also was very impressed that she loved my Trinidadian accent (which there isn't too much of in my opinion) The room was very well appointed, no issues there. Breakfast was really lovely, as she made exactly the pot of tea that you wanted and gave me recommendations of what I should have. She even did my laundry twice (which I appreciated sooo much), as I was worried about exactly where I would've been able to do it during my trip. She also gave me recommendations of a map of Interlaken of what to see and do which I also appreciated. Totally loved the chocolate she gave me at the end of my stay. Will definitely be back whenever I come back to Switzerland!

A diamond in the middle of the lake and the beautiful mountains. The location is excellent for us. Steps away from the bus station. Amongst the hotels in the area, it has the best view of the lake! The staff, Savina, Alexander, and all the rest were always trying to find ways to assist you. Stephan, the manager or owner was kind, courteous, and hospitable. Most of them speak English, so no problem with communication. Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of fruits and with varied choices of bread, cheese, jams, cereals, yoghurt, nuts, tea! I appreciate the upgrade and the discount they gave me for my 50th bday stay!

Dejligt gammelt hotel, med et spændende museum i alle fællesområder, og værelset også med gamle møbler, men super vedligeholdte, dog knirkede gulvet ret meget. Rigtig venlig og imødekommen personale, og vores ankomst var en hel oplevelse i sig selv. God beliggenhed tæt ved banegården Interlaken Ost, og også i gåafstand til centrum. Rigtig god morgenbuffet.

Where do I begin? The location is amazing. I didn't know the view could get better than I experienced coming in via the train, but it gets way better. The hotel is quaint, quiet, luxurious, and not overcrowded. We didn't have to rush anywhere to get a great spot to sit by the water. The room is lovely - highly recommend going for a balcony (especially nice on cool nights to open the window/doors). Rooms were cleaned daily - we didn't expect this since in the US hotels have abstained from daily cleaning even after returning to mostly normal activities post COVID. There was a towel warmer and individual covers on the bed. Each morning I indulged in a delicious breakfast. Lots of great choices. They offer a short lunch/dinner menu for when you need a bite to eat and don't feel like climbing up the hill to a restaurant or bus stop. The staff (there were two primary people and additional staff that were more behind the scenes) was wonderful. They are a big reason why I hope to come back and stay in the same place for a longer duration. Every need was tended to, quickly and kindly. Helpful hints: 1. To get up to the bus stop, climb the stairs behind the building and take the path to the left and follow it to the arch under the bridge. Keep straight to the main road. Plenty of little spots to get up to the primary road. 2. If you have a lot, large, or heavy luggage, consider taking a taxi from the train station to the hotel (I imagine most people are arriving by train at Interlaken Ost). Our trip cost us approx. €25.

For the price they charged facility is beyond expectations.. location is walkable to bus station . Free drinking water.

Excellent spacious room. Facilities were great as well. The hotel is at a great location for family trip and as a base. Enjoyed the stay. checkin was easy as well. we were outside of the hours so clear instruction on how to get to the room.
