Family-run for over 160 years, the Hotel Kreuz is a traditional country inn in a quiet location in the Canton of Solothurn, 30 minutes away from Basle. Cisza absolutna. Można było się naprawdę zrelaksować. Piękny pensjonat z dbałością o szczegóły. Piękna kolekcja zegarów. Duży pokój. TAras . Łazienka. Można się było czuć naprawdę swobodnie. Śniadania z Panią gospodynią bardzo uśmiechniętą. Pysznie , świeżo ale brakowało mi warzyw i większego urozmaicenia ( 5 nocy)

Set within the Baroque-style centre of Solothurn, Boutique Hotel La Couronne is one of the oldest hotels of Switzerland and was completely renovated in 2016. Nice localization. The room was very clean. I had my check-in very late, but everything was ok. Excellent breakfast. The reception was very thoughtful and kind. I do recommend

Hotel Astoria położony jest w centrum miasta Olten, 650 metrów od dworca kolejowego Olten. I used Olten as a base for two days of train excursions. This hotel is very near to the old part of town and the wooden bridge over the Aare River. It was a fifteen minute walk to the railway station. It was a forty minute train ride to Zürich/Zürich Airport, and in the other direction, a similar time to Bern. The room offered had plenty of room, was very clean and had all facilities that I required. Wifi was very good. The breakfast was of continental style, with lots of variety. All staff members encountered were friendly and very helpful. I would use this hotel again.

Large rooms, with the typical Swiss austerity, but large, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms and a small but nice balcony. It has efficient light (blinds) and acoustic insulation (due to the noise of the constant passage of trains). The wi-fi connection is very good. The breakfast buffet is diverse, extensive and generous, with a multitude of products, including hot dishes that are either on the counter or can be ordered from the friendly ladies. Ideal hotel for train travelers, due to its location in front of one of the largest stations in Switzerland, which allows for multiple excursions. In addition, it is one of the hotels in the country with the best quality/price ratio. And if you are also a railway fan, ask for a room with a view of the station: you will really enjoy it.

Newly built Hotel directly by the river and two minutes walking distance from the main station and the old city centre. The rooms come with a private bathroom and a minibar. The location is perfect. The center is reachable in a few minutes. My dog was greeted with the finest dog food and bowls for his convenience. The front desk staff is very friendly. The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is clean.
