Located in the Écrins National Park, in the hamlet of Ailefroide, a famous climbing site, Hôtel Engilberge is a family-run hotel set in a large park with garden furniture. We couldn’t get closer to the alps! We loved the location!

This hotel is situated at the heart of the traditional mountain village of Vallouise, just outside Ecrins National Park and 10 km from Puy Saint Vincent ski resort. Nice staff. English speaking. Very good location. The only restaurant open at this time of the year.

Location fabulous, staff extremaly helpful, the hotel little run down and requires substancial renovation, in particular the rooms, bathrooms, beds. But the place has its great charm and I will return there.
