Harbour House Sea front Hotel ligger ved strandpromenaden i Portpatrick og har ølhave, kaffe- og cocktaillounge samt gratis wi-fi på samtlige værelser. The Harbour House was absolutely perfect. After a long day of travel, and not ideal weather upon arrival, this place became our sanctuary. The accommodation exceeded our exception with wonderful view, kitchenette, large bathroom/shower and it was warm and cozy. We ate in the hotel as well, which was an amazing dinner. AND breakfast included in the morning.

Royal Hotel ligger i Stranraers centrum og har ølhave og bar. Stranraers togstation ligger 10 minutters gang derfra, og Stena og P&O-havnene ligger i nærheden. This hotel was excellent. The guy who checked us in made everything so chill, quick and easy. The hotel room was lovely. There was no hassle with leaving early either. And the tea and biscuits were greatly appreciated. Will definitely be i this hotel to any friends and family who will be in the area to catch the boat.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, cosy and the bar was lively and full of character on a Saturday afternoon. A gorgeous fire that kept the cold at door. The staff are some of the most helpful and welcoming we have experienced. We had dinner at the hotel and enjoyed everything. Reasonably priced and best of produce. Breakfast is plentiful and offers something for everyone. We will certainly return in the future. Absolutely delighted with our stay.

We picked this establishment because it was the only one that had rooms for those of us that are disabled (first floor). The inn is remote but is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a slightly remote house which we really loved. Large windows in the living area looking over the rocky seashore made for a serene morning coffee scene. We also really enjoyed the 5 course meal served in the restaurant in the lighthouse.

Fernhill Hotel ligger i en privat have over Portpatrick og har fri udsigt over landsbyen, havnen og Det Irske Hav. We loved everything about it. The toilet was noisy for a long time after flushing but everything else was lovely. The gardens, the walks out the front door, the quietness, the stunning views from our patio. We loved the walk up by the golf course and if we had another day would have explored those hikes more. The staff was veryfriendly and professional. It was a real treat to end our 2 week journey to Northern Ireland. We didn't want to drive home after taking the ferry so we stayed here instead. We were pleasantly surprised with the fabulous hotel and views. The array of Scotch whiskeys in the bar was a great idea and we partook in a few of those for after dinner. The Hendricks gin was also very good. It's just a very classy place.

North West Castle Hotel har sin egen curlingskøjtebane og en indendørs pool. Det ligger overfor Stranraer Havn, som er den vigtigste færgehavn mellem Skotland og Irland. Left at 6.15 am. We had a very short but pleasant stay.
