If you want clean, simple calm and relaxing and good food this is the place to be. There is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, where you are mostly alone, with the exception of a few locals that walk by every now and them. As is in Gambia, they will most definitely talk to you. If you like fishing ask them to arrange a fishing trip and then bring back the catch for BBQ,. Around here there is also a lots of birds to see around this area. Next time in the Gambia I will go straight to Little's place. If they don't have a place for me I will sleep on the beach and go in for Domoda every single meal :)

The kindness I experienced is something I’ll always remember. And if you are lucky, you’ll get to taste Oliver’s amazing pasta (please don’t pass up on the opportunity). The compound is one of the most places i’ve ever stayed. Just having breakfast while listening to the birds was the stuff of dreams. Okay stop reading and book this place right away.

Evergreen is a beautifully designed & tranquil oasis, with lots of personal touches. The food was authentic & delicious. Greg is a coffee-connoisseur providing us with ample, real coffee! We cannot wait to return, & will stay for much longer next time.
