Situated in the centre of Kyoto, 300 metres from TKP Garden City Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO features air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. I loved the room. It was spacious and very clean (big enough to accomodate two big open suitcases). The lobby staff all spoke English. The baths were also spacious and clean. Every floor has a vending machine which is also awesome. When it was time to leave the staff took care of measuring our luggage and filling out the form to send our luggage to our next hotel. When I lost my credit card and it was found by the police, the staff called my room and let me know then they printed out a map and gave me clear instructions on where to go to get it back. All in all, my stay here was very plesant and me and my spouse intend to stay with them again in the future.

Staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have, and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel before check-in and also for a few hours after check out. The location is perfect to explore central Kyoto and only a 10-min walk to the Chion-in Temple and Maruyama Park.
