Set in Udawalawe, 2.5 km from Udawalawe National Park, Ali Weta Safari Resort offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a shared lounge. We loved everything about this hotel!! New spacious room with modern bathroom and lovely private patio; excellent pool to cool off after morning safari or before evening one; very friendly and helpful manager who was always smiling and sharing info about elephants with us over meals; very good food (really liked the rice and curry!) which we weren’t necessarily expecting from a hotel restaurant. And the best part: seeing elephants across the road in park during breakfast l!! Side note: be careful about where you book in this area. The hotel we originally booked canceled on us day of when they found out we’d booked a safari through someone else (not them). We were lucky to find this current hotel who said it was our decision to book safari with them or not (although I’m sure their safaris are good too!).

Situated in Udawalawe, 12 km from Udawalawe National Park, Wild Lake Side features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. the silence, being inserted in the nature, the host’s were amazing, super nice and available for our needs, they even showed us their garden and some tree fruits. The safari available by them was amazing, our driver was impeccable, it’s concern was showing us every wild life and we were able to see the elephants closer. the facilities were new and with an amazing view. for sure will go back. We had the opportunity to spend their new year’s with them , and that is an experience we will take forever.

The owner was wonderful and helped us arrange everything from tuktuks to a great safari guide. We really enjoyed how quiet the environment is and it's easy access to the national park.

The lodge is excellent, the rooms some of the best I had in Sri Lanka, the pool is nice and warm and perfect for a dip after a long day of Safari. The staff is excellent and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The lodge also organized my private Safari, my guide and driver Nandu was excellent. I actually liked my Udawalawe Safari better than the one I did in Yala. It is less busy and except Leopards I saw more in Udawalawe than in Yala.

But what truly stood out was the attention to detail and the incredible value for money. The price I paid was an absolute steal considering the quality of service and amenities offered. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sheer joy on my kids' faces as they splashed around in the pool and explored the hotel grounds. The family-friendly atmosphere of OwinRich made our vacation truly memorable. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. They even arranged a safari to Udawalawe National Park for us at the best price possible, allowing us to marvel at Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife. Overall, I can't recommend OwinRich highly enough. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or solo, this hotel offers everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

What impressed me most was the rate: the price of the room, food, and the safari tour were all very reasonable.

Situated in Udawalawe, 14 km from Udawalawe National Park, Green View Safari Paradise features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. What a wonderful place! The staff was so kind and helpful. They arranged a 7 hour safari for me, with Amila. It was INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend paying the extra money for the longer safari, and if you can, book with Amila. He was so knowledgeable about the animals and birds and really took time out on roads in the national park with almost no other jeeps. The room was clean, the food was delicious, the setting was peaceful, and the grounds were lovely. What a great price for an great room!

The pool was welcomed in the heat. The location is good for Udawalawe just a short walk to shops and easy access for safaris. The setting was idyllic surrounded by foliage and next to the river. It was the staff who made it.
