Location is excellent to walk around to Esplanade, Chinatown, Little India. Easy to reach other destinations by Grab. The hotel looks good, nice and clean room, very helpful and friendly staff. Bathroom is bog enough, hot water - btw, the water is potable.

Housed in a Chinese courtyard-style mansion, The Blue Mansion offers boutique accommodation tastefully furnished with antique fittings. Breakfast was excellent with great choice and large servings. All the staff were amazing, very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. Hotel was so full of character and so beautiful.

It was really clean and comfy room. Just stay for 1 day but I wish to stay longer because the it was really comfortable. The bathroom is super clean too. I love the bed the most because it’s too comfortable that you just want to stay there for long time.

If there was breakfast, we were unaware of it. But the staff treated us to afternoon tea and looked after us very well. We had a couple of emergencies to do with a lost phone and computer problems, and they jumped to attention and solved the problems immediately, superb service.

We loved the quaint feeling of the hotel, and the attention to detail. The staff were there to cater for every need, candles lit each evening, essential oils burning in the room giving a lovely aroma, turndown service of the bed, loved the L'Occitane soap, shampoo etc in the rooms. Like that the toiletries weren't single use. The breakfast was lovely. Eve at the front desk was helpful and they give a good map/ info on the food and street art when you first arrive. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We should stay there 4 days instead of 3. There are many attractions. Kek Lok Si Chinese Temple and Penang Hill were amazing. It's a various city, you can find Indian, Malaysian and Chinese culture and cuisine in one place.

After spending time in Kuala Lumpur, George Town was really peaceful and relaxing. There is a 2rym bus, which took me from Penang bus station to GeorgeTown - heritage area. Street art everywhere, gorgeous houses, nice and cosy. If you like eating out, you will find lot of cafes, restaurants, many vegan options. Full of museums, some of them quite interesting, interactive.
