Located in Chitwan, 40 km from Tharu Cultural Museum, Chital lodge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 1-star hotel offers a bar. When you come to Chitwan, your main purpose is to see the animals. Bishnu is the best for this purpose you can find in the area. He has been in the jungle since his very early years, he knows Chitwan better than I know my neighborhood. Plus he is an excellent manager and tries to do everything for you way and beyond. The food his wife is cooking is the best we ate in Nepal, since it's true home cooking. They are all very attentive to your needs. And we fulfilled the purpose: all kinds of deers, monkeys, birds, crocodile and the close encounter with the rhino! What we also liked is the location. It's the other part of Chitwan, far from the crowds and touts. The facilities are very simple, but it's expected. You have very comfortable beds with mosquito nets and hot water.

One of the greatest places I stayed at in all of Asia. The manager is a gem. He greeted me with such kindness, and he was so accomodating. When I was feeling sick he came with a pot of hot tea for free. So caring. The place is beautiful too. Nice garden and everything super clean. Secure parking for motorbikes. Hot shower, strong wifi and splendid restaurant. Cannot reccomend this place enough.

Price quality is pretty good the owner was very friendly and welcoming and helps me arranging the safari tours to Chitwan National Park. The pick up from the bus station was one of the best that you can used especially arriving from a long bus journey. The rooms were perfect plenty of space. Although I only got a fan room, believe me it is more satisfying, airconditioning wasn’t necessary. The wifi works very well inside the room so for bloggers looking for a perfect internet connection this is the place to be. The bathroom is huge as well with good shower and hot water. There’s a kettle inside the room, hangers and one free bottle of water. If you want the room to be clean up just left the key at the reception and when you come back everything is cleaned.

We had a beautiful stay at Hotel Aikawa. The facilities are new and clean. The restaurant overlooked the pretty rice fields and it was very close to the restaurants in Sauraha. We were impressed by the staff who were all very helpful and professional. When we where there they were celebrating that they had aquired another star for their rating and we were invited to the celebrations where we had really good Nepali food. Overall we had an excellent stay and it was well worth the price.

The manager of the hotel is particularly nice and has a very good knowledge of the park (he was a guide in the park for a long time). He will help you book your tour and even provide free driving service to the different activities. He is always nice and his team as well. It is really a super place to visit the national park.

My stay was only two nights but I did a day in the Chitwan National Park. I also visited the township and enjoyed looking in the shops and talking to locals. You will find all sorts of supplies here. And get a view of village life on the outskirts of the village centre. These people are very hearty indeed!

Very beautiful country village.
Very beautiful country village. We had a great time there. On the first day we rented a bicycle and went to the elephant breeding project. It was only 4 kilometers away. There you could see baby elephants with their mothers. We also went on a jungle walk in Chitwan national park. It was a great experience, thanks to our very professional guides from Crazy Tiger's Trek & Tours.

Nice small village with main attraction being Chitwan National Park. Go for the Jeep Safari rather than Elephant Safari as it takes deep inside jungle. Canoe ride was also quite good. Try local food Khaja Set.

Right in the middle of Chitwan National Park. Slower paced way of life here in comparison to KTM and Pokhara and a lot hotter too. Chilled out place. Evergreen eco lodge is a great place to stay and super close to the national park entrance. Not so many restaurants around the village but the food at the hotel was amazing so wouldn't bother going anywhere else.

dear all we visit in sauraha . its a very different city of nepal because of the chitwan national park and culture of tharu . we stay at hotel jungle vista . a great service provider of sauraha chitwan . its a budget hotel but in a service like a star hotel . all the staff are very help full and polite . they arrange all the activities like elephent safari boating jungle safari and many more . one things we could not be forget in this hotel we sew the rhino inside the hotel at the night time . they arrange all the pick up and drop from airport to hotel as a very affordable rate . its a good price of pick up from airport to hotel only 20 dollar . thank you hotel jungle vista . thank u so much . raj Australia

The chitwan national park is great! The City itself is Very touristic and consists of dozens of Hotels next to each other and a main street with some Restaurants and Shops. The most interesting are the elephants walking by like normal cars in other Cities.

great place to stay for a few days escpially after the madness of Kathmandu. It’s such a sleepy town, very relaxed. You can grab a beer and walk to the beech and watch the sun go down over Chitwan National Park. There is really good restaurants here like “The Greesy Spoon” with amazing food! There is elephants everywhere and an abundance of wildlife. Really enjoyed this place.

The ambience of the place, being right in front of Chitwan National Park, was great - but it's really the staff that made Meghauli Serai unforgettable. They were extremely kind and hospitable, always made sure we had the best experience, and are just overall wonderful people. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back! As for the national park- it was incredible; one of the rhinos we saw even walked up to to us!

I like Hotel Butterfly a lot. It was a nice, relaxing place to stay with good service and nice food. The walking tour to Chitwan National Park that they arranged was great with excellent guides. 👍👍👍👍👍

One of the BEST resort I’ve ever stayed in. We were going to give our friend a surprise birthday celebration. Sapana prepared a lovely cake for her, which made all of us extremely touched and happy. Also, having breakfast at the sunlight was an amazing experience, especially surrounded by the local pets Benny, Romey, and two cats.
