Featuring garden views, Mangawhai Modern features accommodation with a shared lounge and a patio, a 5-minute walk to Mangawhai Village and its shops, cafes and swimming spot. A very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. Nice bathroom, good bed, very cosy, great place to stay Lynne is a great host very thoughtful and kind. We will definitely visit her again.

Nastanitev Chalet Cullen, se nahaja v mestu Mangawhai, 1,8 km od znamenitosti Plaža Mangawhai Heads Beach, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. Even though we only had a single overnight stay at Chalet Cullen, we must say it’s on our top ten experiences of what we have had during our 6 weeks vacation in New Zealand. The unit was fine and cozy, and with a great view to the beach. The local radio station (FM 90.4) plays pop/rock from the good old days. What’s not to like. We can only give our best recommendations.

Located within walking distance to many dining options, Heads Up offers a garden, a BBQ area and accommodation with a deck and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our one-night stay at Heads Up - the studio is spacious, with a comfortable bed and good shower (large bathroom). The hosts are awesome - they brightened our (very rainy) day with avocados, and a complimentary plate of guacamole + nachos. Great location, as well. It's really nice to have your coffee in the morning sun, looking at the beautiful view from the terrace (you can see the ocean in the distance).

Featuring free WiFi and a barbecue, Tokatoka views Farmstay offers pet-friendly accommodation in Ruawai. Free private parking is available on site. Some units have a seating area where you can relax. It would take me a whole day to list everything I liked about my stay but I’ll name the key players. Firstly, the hosts Peter and Sara were such welcoming and friendly people. As soon as I arrived they invited me to have dinner with them, and we finished off a lovely night in with a game of Rummikub. Secondly, the location is just stunning. Peter took me to see the dairy farm next door and even let me have a go milking the cows (not by hand haha), and after he took me on a hike up the local mountain which had a 360 degree view of the landscapes. Also an honourable mention goes to the tens of animals I met while staying there - my fave were Sara’s horses. It was the best way I could’ve kicked off my NZ trip. Thanks so much Peter and Sara for having me! I would recommend this place 100 times over.
