Situated in Paparoa National Park just 300 metres from the magnificent Pancake Rocks and Blowholes, the beachfront Scenic Hotel Punakaiki offers comfortable accommodation with rainforest and ocean... I stayed in winter. The room was super clean and cosy warm. Even attention to details like the towel heaters on before arrival were valued. Friendly service. Overall a great stay right by the sea. Warm and cozy house, nice design, Patrick & Joe have good taste at furnitures. We actually arrive late and miss the sunset at night, however when we wake up in the morning and open the door, omg worth it! Breathtaking sea view with bird song, also the SPA pool with just perfect water temperature, what a morning!

The breakfast is really really good and the host is unbelievably kind. The room is cosy and with it's own AC unit. Also there is a little patio where you can enjoy the breakfast if you like.
