Ideally situated in Christchurch, The Observatory Hotel Christchurch features a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. The location is walking distance to everything and on a charming former campus. Breakfast was lovely with many options and delicious coffee. The staff were all friendly and helpful, without exception. We even used the gym, which is small, but we had it to ourselves.

Boasting a shared lounge, bar and views of city, Poshtel is situated in Oamaru, 38 km from Moeraki Boulders. The accommodation features luggage storage space and free WiFi throughout the property. we had an apartment with a separate entry and it was awesome. The character of the place was great, having kept the vault door in the bedroom made it really unique. The decor in the lobby and the historical artefacts of Oamaru was really interesting. The breakfast concept also suited us very well. All in all, it’s a very well designed boutique hotel with very nice and attentive staff. Definitely worth the stop.

It surpassed all my expectations - beautiful historic hotel, warm inviting decor in the bar and restaurant. Lovely gardens with hot tub. The room was perfect - so clean and comfortable, still retaining old world charm. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Awesome town, one of my top in the South Island.
Awesome town, one of my top in the South Island. If you like nature and outdoor activities, this is your place! Water activities in the lake, roads to cycle, trails to bike, mountains to hike, Queenstown 1h-awesome-drive away... endless! Lots of campers, great vibe in town, is not big but has just enough facilities to be comfortable.
