Lawfield BnB was a lovely cozy hideaway, with stunning views of the rolling hills, sunrise, sunset and night stars. Though the cabin was secluded and small, it was thoughtfully designed with everything that we needed for a restful and comfortable stay, including hot shower, hairdryer, USB charging pods, a kitchenette, and full length glass doors and balcony for enjoying the views. The place was neat and clean. The hosts Keith and Helen were also warm and friendly. They gave us some excellent recommendations to check out in the area, such as the annual Farmers Market at Kaka Point. Location wise, this was pretty near a few highlights along the Catlins trail, such as Nugget Point and Roaring Bay. This would make a good rest stop along the Catlins trail, or launching base to explore the Catlins. This was one of our favourite places to stay in New Zealand. We stayed for only 1 night, and wished we stayed longer. We look forward to returning to Lawfield BnB one day!

Watch the waves roll onto the beach from your garden at this Kaka Point guest house. Free WiFi is also provided to show others the wonderful sea views from your accommodation. Jenny was extremely friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was lovely, very clean, had very comfortable bed and had a spectacular view. There was a short walk to town and the beach. Jennie provided exceptional recommendations to optimize our time and experience.
