The staff in this recently opened property are very attentive and made for a memorable stay. The accommodation, in chalets, is laid out in an idyllic garden with so many flowering plants attended by so many brightly coloured birds, it is so relaxing. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the beds are the best. We enjoyed our food although more variety in menu would be appreciated. It is handily located for the Volcanoes NP and the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Foundation.

Located in Kinigi, Kinigi Cottage provides a garden, bar and barbecue facilities. The property features mountain and garden views. We found Kinigi Cottage “by accident” while scrolling down in booking, and what an amazing find! Everyone was super nice; the food delicious; a perfect “home away from home”. The rooms is beautiful; spacious; with a beautiful view over the volcanoes on a clear day. The small details like colorful bathrobes; the natural shampoos; a fireplace, make all the difference and we loved it! It was honestly one of our favorite places to stay and we can only recommend it to everyone! We only had one night but wished to stay longer. We will definitely come back once!

The views from the premise are also beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here!

With mountain views, Sambora Kinigi is situated in Kinigi and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This hotel is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly! After we checked out, we did a hike to the Bisoke. It was super muddy that day, so I was super dirty when returning from the hike. As I needed to head back to Kigali on the same day, I phoned the hotel and asked if I could take a quick shower, and they accepted immediately!
