Mantis Akagera Game Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Akagera. This 4-star hotel offers a kids' club and a 24-hour front desk. Everything here was perfect, the rooms had all facilities you can ask for, clean confortable and very quiet. It is located inside the Akagera park, so searching for wildlife is just perfect as long as you are inside the park. Breakfast and dinner had a great option and the staff was wonderful throughout. There is a pool overlooking the lake and the border with Tanzania and at night the set fire to sit around and enjoy a drink in a campsite looking area. I will be back here, this is what you need after a full day of exploring the park to relax and recharge . Loved it.

The hotel is located in a centre with local pub, billiards, supermarket, fast food with delicious barbecue and hairdresser. The garden is cozy with seating areas. The hosts, staff and people in the village were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Close to Akagera National Park, the hosts arranged a car and a guided tour. Good breakfast and well-functioning Internet. One of the employees washed and ironed my white shirt. Fantastic stay, highly recommended. Thanks to all the fine people at AKAGERA Neighbors. Lovely welcome and Patrick looked after us brilliantly. He prepared a meal that was the best we had in the 2 weeks we spent in Rwanda.
