First and foremost I would like to say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in all my years of travelling to various countries around the world. My mother and I were visiting from Ireland and unfortunately due to the train station being located at Wells, we required a taxi to and from the station. We were initially advised Uber would work in that area but it did not and we were told after this by the hotel that they were notoriously unreliable. We successfully managed to get to the property after calling a local taxi at the train station. We also ensured to arrange a taxi to take us back to the train station with plenty of notice. 30 minutes before the taxi was due to arrive, the hotel was called to let us know they would be a few minutes late only and not to worry as we would still make our train. 25 minutes later no sign and I spoke to the lady working there. When I asked if they gave an ETA as our train was booked back to Boston in less than 30 minutes, she was shocked and immediately sprung into action. She attempted to contact back the taxi company who now were not answering. She straight away got in touch with her general manager, Kristin, who had no hesitation to take us to the train station at Wells asap. We made the train with 2 minutes to spare and to be honest besides the helpful nature of the staff throughout our stay which I was going to highly commend, the actions of the staff and the lengths they went to to help us in our situation were amazing and I was so grateful for their kindness. Besides all this drama, we encountered various staff during our stay including the lovely Megan and Tasha. Both were super friendly and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was great each morning with fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola and a variety of breads. The offerings were very healthy and tasted great too. Also, the drink station was a nice touch and the evening salted cookies were wonderful. The hotel was very clean and tidy and in a beautiful location.

Our room was very large and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Having an extra blanket was great because the weather was chilly. The location right on the beach was beautiful, great for a morning and/or late afternoon walk. Very safe and friendly establishment. Breakfast was delicious and a different take on continental with hard boiled eggs, fresh orange chunks, English muffins, bagels and of course the freshly made (just from the oven) muffins all reviewers have raved about. Even though the inn was quite busy somehow the staff managed the small dining room turnover very well and we always got a table. It was great staying in a place with so much history and charm.

Just a half-mile from Maine’s Atlantic coast and 2 miles from Interstate 95, The Grand Hotel has an indoor heated pool and outdoor hot tub. It is located less than a half-mile from Perkin’s Cove. Loved the deco, the tidy, lovely suites. Especially the lighting and organization. The staff were very helpful and pleasant when checking us in /out of the hotel. The pool is perfect for a relaxing moment and opening hours were ideal.

Este complejo de suites goza de una buena ubicación a 800 metros del centro de Ogunquit y ofrece fácil acceso al pintoresco sendero Marginal Way. Loved the front clerk receptionist. Young woman. Very accommodating!!!

Wanderer Cottages se encuentra en Kennebunk, a 16 min a pie de Kennebunk Beach y a 2,2 km de Parsons Beach. We loved staying at the Wanderer Cottages! Mark has set-up the space beautifully and thought of every detail to make guests comfortable. The rooms were perfect, the pool was a great retreat and it was so lovely to have cookies and drinks in the afternoon. We can't wait to go back!

ViewPoint Hotel se encuentra en York, a 14 min a pie de Short Sands Beach, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, piscina de temporada al aire libre y centro de fitness. Everything!!! By far the most beautiful and memorable place we have ever stayed. Sparkling clean, fresh, modern but earthy. The bed and linens made for a perfect night's sleep. The view, the grounds, all of it... amazing. At check in, we were offered a complimentary upgrade due to some wedding guests that had lingered and were still occupying the room above the one we had booked. We accepted the upgrade and couldn't have been happier. This will be on our happy place list forever!
