Ba Be Jungle Houses features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Ba Be. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The location is good with easy access the lake (30 seconds), and to the boats that take you to the waterfals, villages to walk through and caves to explore. The staff was especially welcoming. The manager, Nam, was over and above helpful, very informative, and did everything to make the stay enjoyable and the food great (thanks to the cooks and helpers). Meals served in an open garden and comfortable covered outside lounge areas with Wifi access. Even got to meet Mr. Linh himself, a gregarious and very friendly individual. The bungalow type accommodation is great for backpackers and those on a lower budget, clean with shared bath, but basic. For a little extra I'd go for the the rooms with ensuite. They are very comfortable. If you're keen, kayaks are free to use for an hour or so and I'd recommend a paddle around. Overall a great place to spend a few days in the Ba Be National Park area right on the lake.

The way to get to thehotel southbound ( google maps ) was at least to say quire a challenge. We visited in low season, and were the only guests in the entire hotel. The owner prepared us a rice/chicken/ vegeteable meal which was OK.

A wonderful environment by the lake with fantastic nature. Great people, warm and willing to give advice. Great boating and swimming in the lake. Close to beautiful mountains in the area. Accommodation in a pleasant house, excellent local cuisine, barbecue in the evening on an open fire with an open bar. Surprising beyond my expectations. Thank you, I will be happy to stop by again.

The view from this homestay is beautiful! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds are hard but we still managed to sleep well.
