The shower water was too cold and so I couldn't shower nor wash my hair so went on to the airport in the morning to go to my holiday with unwashed hair which didn't feel good and then when I reached my accommodation in Spain, there was no hairdryer so would have been nice if the shower was warm or hot water so I could have washed my hair. The room itself and the shower room was very small. The size of room and dated fittings etc made us feel like we would have rather booked the Travelodge that was even nearer the station. We have used Travelodge loads over the years and was trying to give our business to a local hotel instead. The rear views aren't great but there's some distant hillside beyond the roof. we asked to have room change straight away, due to noise from refrigeration extractor from bar area as so noisy outside room. When we arrived a tad early we weren't offered to buy a hot or cold drink and were offered to store luggage instead and had to walk into the town to kill time and get a drink. It would have been nice to spend the half hour in the hotel with a cuppa, after our two hour train journey's and walk to the hotel instead of being sent away again. The reception staff were nice though so it wasn't their fault that there were no refreshments.

The staff changed our room with no hassle when we didn't like the first noisy room. The bed was comfortable and slept well. The location was good, close to the station. Everything was clean.

Room wasn't very accessible for pram or wheelchair, lift was very small. Parking spaces all reserved but no mention you can reserve on booking? Rooms very dated and very run down.

For the price I paid I cannot complain re the hotel. This hotel is good value for money.

For the price I paid I cannot complain. Room was tidy, bed was ok, tv good, shower in room. Excellent reception staff. Location was great - not in the centre: where you may hear noise from nightlife, but, only 5-10 mins walk to pubs/bars/restaurants…..beach is 20 seconds over road from hotel. Parking available outside hotel - if you pre book/if available. The thing with reviews is you get people who get a cheap price re hotel but expect Hilton standards - for what I paid for this hotel I was happy with the value I got. I would book again/would stay again.

The room we had , there was seagulls trying to get into the room. My dog wasn’t feeling comfortable and we couldn’t have open window, because of that was very hot inside. Otherwise we were very happy.

Very tired rooms. Sink was blocked on arrival and shower head had to be replaced whilst there. Paint pealing off the walls in bedroom.

Good central location but a nightmare for parking. Had to haul multiple cases and bags along with a dog 15 minutes walk in the rain. Parking was available to reserve infront of hotel but no option to reserve on booking.com which is frustrating.

Warm welcome on arrival. Room serviced after one night after a spillage on the bed which was nice and appreceated. A lift which made carrying luggage to room easy. Nice room for the price

Very noisey Room looks nothing like photos, very outdated Shower is awful and randomly stops. Rooms extremely hot and no control of it.

Seemed to be a generator outside which hummed a bit, not sure it was from this property tho. Walls were quite thin so could hear others when they talked / open / closed doors.

Single room, had space to store clothes. Pillow was not great but the staff happilly provided another. Room was basic but good value for money. No complaints with the shower, not a room with a view but it wasn't booked for that reason.

Water pressure wasn't great, and shower temperature fluctuated whilst in it. Wasn't made aware of the £7 a day for parking when we booked.

Cleaner needs to spend a little bit more time in the room. Radiator in bathroom was in need of a good clean. Plugs good have had a bit of a clean as well.

Location was amazing we even had a small sea view, we stayed in room 43. Staff were very friendly and talkative, even advised were to go for food.

The bin in the bathroom or in the room I have a weird phobia also I didn't like the amount of pillows there wasn't enough for me and the blanket wasn't enough for two people I didn't like the entertainment volume in and out the building when I was passing or in my room

I liked room it was really nice but I had a problem with a bin being in the bathroom or in the room at all The staff was all pleasant it was comfy and relaxing in the rooms all neat and tidy The price was really good for the night
