Carmelo was amazing. He met us by the car two mins after I called him that I was a bit lost and he came running to assist us. The house is truly a gem will definitely return and recommend it highly. My mum who is in her 80's found it extremely comfortable also. The large bottle of water and the packet of ground coffee was an appreciated gesture. Place is extremely central with a lovely wine bar next door and a great restaurant opposite. One can find all the necessities in this beautiful place and also one can feel safe as Carmelo is only a phone call away. We needed an extra key and he was extremely accommodating. I have been to Taormina many times but this place is a jewel. There is a car park a few minutes away and the owner of the garage also is extremely great. He even printed my Ryainair boarding passes!

The most challenging aspect of our stay was arrival and understanding the (lack of) parking in Taormina. Laura did a great job helping us to get oriented to the parking situation but in the future I would recommend providing all of this information in advance so we could have planned better. Nonetheless, the location was outstanding as we were literally in the heart of the historic district which enabled us to have a fantastic stay. Attention was paid to every detail in the room; coffee and tea and water was available and the first real hair dryer on our trip which I really appreciated!

The host (Leonardo) is absolutely phenomenal. One of the kindest people we've met. He helped us in a tough situation, for which we're very grateful. The house itself is placed in an exceptional place, with amazing view of the sea & the coast. I think it's one of the best spots around Taormina. It's very clean. It's equipped with everything necessary. There are friendly cats walking around, but they never enter the house so it's not a problem for people with allergy.

Å komme til Villa Britannia og Louisa var en magisk opplevelse. Som på en av disse vidunderlig vakre filmene fra Italia med et overnattingssted med både historikk og sjel. Det store og gode rommet og den nydelige terrassen med utsikt over Taormina og havet. Ord blir nesten fattige. Verten selv, Louisa, overgår imidlertid alt dette med sin tilstedeværelse. Hun er helt unik. Du føler umiddelbart hvor sterkt hun bryr seg om deg som sin gjest for at du skal ha det bra. Siciliansk lidenskap på sitt mest inderlige og beste. Frokosten til Louisa må også oppleves. Hun lager akkurat det du ønsker av kun glimrende råvarer. Jeg bare nevner ferskpresset appelsinjuice, ferske cornetti, nydelig eggerøre, nydelig solmodnet frukt, prosciutto crudo som smelter på tungen, you name it. Vi måtte passe oss for å ikke overspise fullstendig. Louisa holder også matkurs i Villaen sin. Da vi kom hjem fra en opplevelsesrik dag 2 i Taormina, på slutten av et matkurs for langveisreisende amerikanere, var hun ikke sen om å dekke opp et bord til oss også, som den største selvfølgelighet. En nydelig fire retters disket hun opp med på no time for oss to sultne og litt slitne nordmenn.
