“Excellent location for all the Northumberland coast has to offer. Very comfortable room and bed, exceptionally friendly staff, fabulous kipper breakfast. As a solo traveller, I felt veru comfortable, including relaxing in the quiet bar in the evening.”
“The genuine history of the place within its setting, with all the genuine maritime artifacts displayed all round the hotel and the original decor. Right by the sea, close to Bamburgh castle and with access to the town and ample parking a short walk away. Good quality and choice for included breakfast (I had the eggs Benedict). Good supply of tea and coffee etc in room, good choice of food and drink in the restaurant.”
“The location is great especially if, like us, you don't drive. Easy to get to on public transport and amenities and great walks nearby. Boat trips are just a few minutes away at the harbour too. Nice view over the harbour which could be enjoyed from the comfortable sofa.
We didn't have much contact with the landlord but in what little interaction we had he was very nice and accommodating.”
